Kylor Greene is a Kansas City, MO based theatrical designer. He specializes in lighting design, but enjoys collaborating and designing in various disciplines. His career in Kansas City began while attending high school, as he assisted and worked on shows at The American Heartland Theatre and Musical Theatre Heritage. In 2010 he left Kansas City to attend Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO. While at Lindenwood, he majored in Technical Theatre and Design and designed the lighting for 6+ academic productions. Lindenwood also offered the opportunity to assist on designs for concert productions with talents such as Neil Sedaka, Chuck Berry, Martin Short, David Cassidy, Debby Boone, Debbie Reynolds, Ed Asner, Glen Campbell, Kenny Rogers, The Lennon Sisters, and Pat Boone.
Kylor graduated Lindenwood University with his B.F.A. and returned to Kansas City in 2014. While in Kansas City, he has been a resident designer with Theatre for Young America and Musical Theatre Heritage, while also designing with Kansas City Actors Theatre and many other smaller companies. He is also a producing member of 1009 Arts Collective, a locally developed artistic company dedicated to bringing Kansas City created art to the community.
